Importance of knowledge...

Knowledge is the most precious identity which you carry. Knowledge is something that identifies you from others. Knowledge is the greatest treasure that you can get. Knowledge is something that's going to help you in your bad as well as good times.

You might wonder, why am I stressing on the word "knowledge"? Well, here goes the reason--I think, knowledge is quite underrated. If you consider this scenario where there is one student who has performed extraordinarily well in the written exam of a particular subject, but doesn't know the practical implementation of that subject. And there is this other student who knows the practical implementation of that subject but hasn't performed well in the written exam. Here, the second student who knows the nook and cranny of that subject should have an upper hand over the first student. But, in the real world, this is not the case. Performance is given more importance than knowledge. The depth to which a person has understood something matters, rather than how well he has performed. I am saying this because there are many metrics which need to be considered while evaluating a person on the basis of his performance. Evaluating a person based on his knowledge is the real deal. So, let's break this trend and help knowledge get its importance back.
